How to play RogueIntelligence.org

From public site to Observation 217 without the confusion.

Use the home-page entry menu to start or join a private group, play an isolated sample, or—when signed in—enter the full world or visit a patient; then review adult entry and choose a device.

Direct entry guide

How do I enter Protocol 5?

Choose one destination, review the adults-only agreement when required, and deliberately select a fictional first, middle, and last name before hospital entry. Practical device settings remain automatic. A share code is required only to join a private group, and Device & control setup remains available when you want to customize. Do not use your real first, middle, or last name.

1

Read the public site

Public pages, the Information menu, and Dossier Academy remain open and crawlable without adult confirmation.

2

Choose one destination

Guests may join or start a private group or play the isolated sample. Signed-in adults also receive Enter Full World and Visit Patient.

3

Review adult entry when needed

Select all seven current acknowledgements. A signed-in account remembers that version until it changes or the player chooses Review again next time.

4

Choose a fictional identity

Select one approved first, middle, and last name. The server verifies the complete combination is available, and entry remains blocked if the authoritative name service is unavailable. Do not use your real name.

5

Enter with practical defaults

The server creates or joins the exact requested sample, private group, front-desk visit, or authenticated full-world route. Device & control setup remains available for renderer, comfort, captions, contrast, and interface-scale changes.

6

Follow the current objective

Use the first-person prompt or fully equivalent semantic action list. The server confirms every movement and interaction.

Controls

Different input, identical authority.

Keyboard and mouse

Move with directional keys, look with the pointer, inspect highlighted objects, and use the semantic panel at any time.

Gamepad

Use sticks for movement and camera, the primary action for interaction, and focus navigation for interface controls.

Touch

Use responsive movement/look regions and large semantic action targets designed for phones and tablets.

Reduced motion and screen readers

Use location summaries, objective text, participant lists, inventory, journal, and authored action buttons without relying on WebGL.
