Observation
Inspect Room 217, search the bedside cache, and learn what the locked door and wall vent require.
Learn how Protocol 5 combines first-person hospital exploration, shared server-authoritative puzzles, evidence reconstruction, ten-player instances, and richer fictional characters.
It is a cooperative first-person hospital mystery with shared environmental puzzles, evidence reconstruction, and character-driven investigation. The current MVP starts in an observation room and keeps the entire playable world inside the fictional Meridian Ward.
Inspect Room 217, search the bedside cache, and learn what the locked door and wall vent require.
Use heat and steam to reveal the room number, recover a maintenance token, and open the ceiling route.
Move through the vent junction to reach the laboratory, electrical control, records office, and low-stimulus room.
Build a tracer, reconstruct consent records, verify the accessible signal, and restore approved observation power.
Release the interlock, read the manifest, and learn why the intake file contains several operational legends.
Reach the occupied social space, meet the wider cast, and continue the investigation through the Continuity Circle.
Every accepted interaction is validated against the player’s authoritative location, shared puzzle version, inventory custody, and authored prerequisites. Idempotency prevents a repeated click or reconnect from duplicating effects.
When a player disconnects while carrying a critical shared object, the server recovers that object into the instance so the run remains solvable.
Patients, clinicians, technical staff, advocates, and Day Room participants hold different facts, motives, and uncertainties. Their accounts may support or contradict one another without becoming automatic world truth.
The plot distinguishes observable records, personal experience, shared interpretation, and unresolved questions.
Property, contracts, districts, commerce, and temporary operations remain retained prelaunch systems. They are intentionally not the active player-facing route until the hospital is reliable, fun, accessible, and proven under real multi-client load.
